Monographs
Make it tangible.
Over the last decade, the team behind Wide Open Art has edited and produced several fine art monographs for emerging artists cultivating and nurturing powerful voices through the process from completed body of work to finished monograph. This space is currently in progress and you will soon be able to explore curated examples of some of our core monograph projects over the years.
Susurros del Tiempo
by Juan Carlos TorresSusurros del Tiempo / Whispers of Time is a powerful and resonant monograph of Northern California and its iconic coastline. The large format hardcover book explores our need to find moments of calm in the face of the entropic pull of time. The images reveal the beauty of stillness in motion, where light and shadow surrender to the hands of time, creating a felt sense of grace.
My Eye
by Jane CuiBeauty lives in the eye of the beholder—but it also hides in the spaces we forget to look. In a world smoothed and polished beyond recognition, Bhutan revealed itself to me like an uncut gem. In its untouched culture, I found a beauty not shaped by possession or perfection, but by connection, tradition, and the quiet strength of the human spirit.
